In this guide, we will learn how to use and edit our mockups.

If you want to use and customize mockups you will need some things:

WinRar, WinZip software to unpack packaged files.

Basic editing skills in Adobe Photoshop.

Adobe photoshop software.

Unzip the ZIP files that you downloaded

As soon as you download your mockup, you will probably need to unpack it.

Open the .psd mockup file

When you double-click on any PSD file and open the file in Photoshop.

Color of the object/mockup

You can find the layer (Color) and the effect with color information. By clicking on it, you can change the color of your model easily and quickly.

Effects

Each Mock-up contains at least one effect layer, responsible for the shading and illumination of a given object.

Smart object layer to add your design

To be able to paste your design, you need to find the smart object type layer, which contains the design. The most important part of the model is the smart object that you want to customize. Layer with name (Add design here).

Shadows and  background color

The last layers are the shadows and the background color. The Shadows group contains layers responsible for adding shadow to the object; According to your needs, you can deactivate them or decrease/increase the intensity. To change the background color, you must double-click on the layer then the color selector panel should appear in this panel you can configure the color you want.
